"Blue rubber bleb nevus syndrome is a rare disorder characterized by cutaneous and gastrointestinal vascular malformations," physicians in Italy explained.
"A 31-year-old man came under our observation with obscure gastrointestinal bleeding," according to M. De Bona and colleagues at S. Maria del Prato Hospital in Feltre, in a case report published in the journal Digestive and Liver Disease.
