Multimedia healthcare marketing company secures $6 million in series A financing

LifeMed Media (LifeMed) announced that it has secured $6.215 million in series A financing in a round led by Battery Ventures, a top-tier venture capital firm focused on investing in technology companies at all stages of growth.

LifeMed is a multimedia healthcare marketing company aggregating and organizing chronic disease populations as lifestyle or affinity marketing groups.

The investment will be used to expand product offerings, distribution and marketing. Ollie Curme, Battery Ventures General Partner and Neeraj Agrawal, Battery Ventures Partner, are joining the LifeMed Board of Directors.
