According to a study recently published in the Journal of the National Medical Association, "Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second leading cause of cancer related deaths in the United States. Underrepresented minorities suffer disproportionately from CRC largely because of disparities in CRC screening rates, particularly by endoscopic methods."
