New breast cancer data have been reported by scientists at Erasmus University, Department of Public Health

Researchers detail in "Women's acceptance of MRI in breast cancer surveillance because of a familial or genetic predisposition," new data in breast cancer. According to a study from Netherlands, "Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the breasts is a promising screening modality for early detection in women at increased breast cancer risk. We investigated the subjective experiences with MRI and the preferences for MRI, mammography or clinical breast examination in 178 high-risk women adhering to a breast cancer surveillance programme."
