Research reports on magnetic resonance from Duke University provide new insights

Researchers detail in "Activation mapping as a percentage of local excitation: fMRI stability within scans, between scans and across field strengths," new data in magnetic resonance. According to recent research from the United States, "Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) does not typically yield highly reproducible maps of brain activation. Maps can vary significantly even with constant scanning parameters and consistent task performance conditions (Liu et al., Magn. Reson. Med., 2004, 52:751-760)."
