Findings from University Hospital, Department of Gastroenterology provide new insights into adenoma therapy

New investigation results, "Endoscopic removal of large sessile colorectal adenomas: is it safe and effective," are detailed in a study published in Digestive Diseases and Sciences. According to recent research from Spain, "Large sessile colorectal polyps represent a treatment challenge. Nowadays there are discrepancies regarding how to proceed with them because of morbidity, the possibility of incomplete endoscopic resection, and the high possibility of a coexisting malignancy."
