New immunoassay research reported from Mayo Clinic

Current study results from the report, 'Validation of a high throughput method for serum/plasma testosterone using liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS),' have been published. According to a study from the United States, "Testosterone, the major androgenic hormone in humans, is commonly measured to aid in the diagnosis of clinical conditions related to its excess or deficiency. In addition, testosterone measurements are used to monitor testosterone replacement-, or antiandrogen therapy."
