"A Tc-99m pertechnetate scan was performed to detect a Meckel diverticulum. The scintigraphy showed an abnormal vascular blush in the angiographic phase at the abdomen close to the left common iliac artery. Mesenteric arteriography showed a hypervascular mass over the left lower quadrant of the abdomen," wrote J. Cortes and colleagues.
