New findings from Justus-Liebig University, Department of Neurology describe advances in magnetic resonance imaging

Fresh data on magnetic resonance imaging are presented in the report 'Protecting the brain from gaseous and solid micro-emboli during coronary artery bypass grafting: a randomized controlled trial.' According to recent research published in the European Heart Journal, "The purpose of the study was to investigate whether intra-operative filter devices protect the brain during coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and to determine the impact of solid and gaseous micro-emboli on neuropsychological functioning.
