Reports from University of Sydney, Faculty of Health Sciences describe recent advances in breast cancer screening

New investigation results, 'Reader practice in mammography screen reporting in Australia,' are detailed in a study published in Journal of Medical Imaging and Radiation Oncology. "Reader variability is a problem in mammography image reporting and compromises the efficacy of screening programmes. The purpose of this exploratory study was to survey reader practice in reporting screening mammograms in Australia to identify aspects of practice that warrant further investigation," investigators in Sydney, Australia report.
