Ezzati Proposes Dual Frame Design

Study Weighs Design For Multi-sample Stat Method

Researchers who have used multiple sampling frames to improve the validity of population surveys are aware the method has problems, including variance and bias implications. Sampling, data collection, and logistical considerations also enter the picture.

T.M. Ezzati, of CDC's National Center for Health Statistics, and colleagues, discuss these issues in their article, "A Dual Frame Design For Sampling Elderly Minorities And Persons With Disabilities," published in Statistics in Medicine (March 15, 1995;14[5-7]:571-583).
