Dental Office Continues To Be Safe Place To Receive Care

Georgia dentists are concerned about the health and safety of their patients and practice strict infection control, thereby making the dental office one of the safest places to receive care.

As required by law, Georgia dentists adhere to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for infection control, which require heat sterilization of all instruments, including the dental handpiece. Sterilization destroys all forms of micro-organisms, including viruses, bacteria, spores and fungi.
