pTBN12 Useful For Epidemiologic Study of TB

pTBN12 is a useful secondary DNA fingerprinting probe for the epidemiologic study of tuberculosis in large geographic areas, according to a report from the University of Arkansas and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The report was presented by researcher G.L. Templeton at the 96th General Meeting of the American Society for Microbiology, held May 19-23, 1996 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
