Researchers Xilla T. Ussery and colleagues from the CDC's Division of Tuberculosis Elimination suggest that more specific criteria for diagnosing or confirming tuberculosis is needed in young children, and a better method for incorporating information about confirmed epidemiologic links to known TB cases is also warranted.
