According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the 37th ICAAC, held September 28 - October 1, 1997, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, "While much has been written on the appropriateness and cost of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (TB) control programs in adult acute care hospitals, little is known about the costs of implementing CDC TB guidelines in hospitals caring for children.
