Physical Activity, Chronic Disease Risk in Native Americans Assessed
Published in Medical Letter on the CDC and FDA, November 1st, 1999
They evaluated these patterns of physical activity based on age-stratified random samples of people 25 years or older from three communities of Chippewa and Menominee Indians in Minnesota and Wisconsin (n=1,344: 843 women and 501 men). The study subjects completed an interviewer-administered questionnaire. Age-adjusted associations between no reported LTPA and potential correlates were evaluated by logistic regression analyses.
