Environmental Health Assessment Tool Unveiled

A guidance document to help local health agencies conduct community-based environmental health assessments was presented at the American Public Health Association's Annual Meeting, held in Chicago, Illinois, November 7-11, 1999.

The Protocol for Assessing Community Excellence in Environmental Health (PACE EH) is a ground-breaking tool created through a cooperative agreement between the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) and the National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
