Screening-Based Prevention Policy Successful

Researchers from the United States recently reported the implementation of U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) screening-based guidelines for the prevention of early-onset group B streptococcal sepsis was considered successful and associated with an 88% reduction in occurrence.
