Industry Calls on FDA to Adopt National Standards on Ephedra

Four dietary supplement associations, representing the majority of manufacturers and distributors of supplements containing ephedra, are calling on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to adopt a national standard for the formulation, labeling, and marketing of ephedra products. The standard, detailed in a Citizen Petition filed with FDA, has already been adopted by industry and several states.
