San Diego Cases Traced to Cross-Border Travel, Raw Dairy Products

R.E. Besser and colleagues at the University of California, San Diego, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention identified several new or re-emerging risk factors for positive Mantoux tuberculin skin tests (TST) among children five years old or younger in San Diego, among them visits to homes across the U.S.-Mexico border and consumption of raw dairy products.
