Kids Get More Physical Activity Than Previously Thought

A review and analysis of 26 studies of physical activity levels of children, completed by University at Buffalo (New York) researchers, has found that children accumulate more physical activity than previously thought.

On average, adolescents get about 30 minutes of aerobic exercise and accumulate about 50 minutes of physical activity daily, results showed. Whether this is enough to provide substantial health benefits remains the central question.
