Bayer Commits To Supply 200 Million Cipro Tablets Over Next Three Months

Bayer Corp. has committed to increase manufacturing to supply 200 million Cipro tablets over the next three months, 15 million tablets a week. Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is an effective antibiotic for 14 indications, including anthrax. The company plans to run its Cipro production facilities on a 24-hour, seven-day-per-week schedule and reopen one of its manufacturing plants. The company said it is prepared to send out shipments daily, including weekends.
