FDA adoption drives demand for commercial electronic document systems

The combination of XML format for eCTD and the accompanying expectations of a faster review process by FDA, European Union's EMEA, and the Japanese Ministry of Health will be the prime drivers of adoption over the forecast period by buyers in the life sciences industry.

New analysis from Frost & Sullivan, World Electronic Regulatory Document Markets for Life Sciences, reveals that this industry generated revenues totaling $436.7 million in 2001.
