That adds North Dakota to a growing list of states looking at ways to buy U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) -approved drugs from Canada.
An Associated Press survey of comparable U.S. and Canadian prices for 10 popular drugs found the Canadian prices were 33% to 80% cheaper. Congress is debating whether to allow Americans to import drugs from Canada and other countries where governments have imposed price controls.
