WHO: Chances good for beating bird flu

While preparing for the worst by coordinating the development of a human vaccine, the WHO's chief influenza scientist said it is still possible to keep the deadly virus from spreading globally.
The avian flu continued to spread across Asia, bringing to 10 the number of countries with birds infected. China joined the list, reporting finding the infection in ducks on a farm.
Tens of millions of chickens have been slaughtered in an effort to stop the disease spreading to humans....
