On February 23, 2004, the Bush Administration verbally rejected a program that has saved Michigan and Vermont millions of dollars by allowing them to negotiate jointly to get lower prescription prices from drug companies.
Last week, New Hampshire announced it would try to join with those states to negotiate the deep discounts and rebates on drugs.
