Company announces issuance of second Cardiosonix patent

Neoprobe Corp. (NEOP), a diversified developer of oncology and cardiovascular surgical and diagnostic products, announced that notification was received from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office regarding the issuance of the second patent (U.S. patent #6,719,698) covering the products of its subsidiary, Cardiosonix, Ltd., (Cardiosonix).

This second patent covers key aspects of the ADBF technology as well as innovations and enhancements to the Quantix family of products for the measurement of blood flow in a variety of clinical applications that are also protected by U.S. patent #6,503,205.
