The agency's first assignment from Cumberland - a 5-year-old pharmaceutical company located in Nashville, Tennessee - was the January 2004 launch of CeraLyte, a treatment for both dehydration and diarrhea. The new drug, called Acetadote (acetylcysteine) Injection received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval in January of this year.
