Foundation donates software to Doctors Without Borders

The VERITAS Software Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization established by VERITAS Software Corporation (VRTS), has donated more than $125,000 worth of software to Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), one of the largest independent medical relief agencies in the world.

Each year, MSF sends approximately 2,500 volunteer doctors, nurses and other professionals to join 15,000 locally hired staff to provide medical aid in nearly 80 countries. The organization relies primarily on private funding and donations from individuals and philanthropic organizations for its operating funds.
