Genetic analysis company reports 190% increase in product sales in Q3

Cepheid (CPHD) announced financial results for the quarter and 9 months ended September 30, 2004. Product sales for the quarter ended September 30, 2004 increased 190% to approximately $13.4 million from approximately $4.6 million for the corresponding prior-year period while product sales for the 9 months period ended September 30, 2004 increased 179% to approximately $30.6 million from $11.0 million for the corresponding prior-year period.
