Bridge financing for phase 2 trial on blood substitute set, phase 3 funds sought

Synthetic Blood International, Inc. (SYBD) has received bridge financing from overseas investors that is expected to be sufficient to fund operations, including the initiation of the company's first phase 2 Oxycyte trial, through mid-first quarter of calendar 2005. Oxycyte is the company's proprietary perfluorocarbon blood substitute and therapeutic oxygen carrier. The amount in terms of the financing was not disclosed.
