U.S. FDA approves HealthStep bathroom device

Ginacor, Inc., received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval to market its HealthStep bathroom device as an aid to effective bowel elimination.

The patent-pending HealthStep, according to the company, helps anyone eliminate more easily, especially those who suffer from constipation, hemorrhoids, bloating, and other more serious bowel disorders.

Doctors have long reported that the best position for achieving effective elimination is the squatting position, according to the company, which says "the squatting tradition is now enjoying resurgence in the bathroom" thanks to the HealthStep.
