Craig M. Walker appointed to medical device company's board of directors

Walker brings has more than 21 years of medical experience as a practicing cardiologist and clinical investigator. His addition to the board brings the total number of directors to 8. His term will expire at the 2006 annual meeting of shareholders, when he will be eligible for election.
