According to recent research from the United States, "growth factor receptor bound protein 2 (Grb2) is an intracellular adaptor protein that participates in the signal transduction cascades of several angiogenic factors, including hepatocyte growth factor, basic fibroblast growth factor, and vascular endothelial growth factor."
