Study 1: Researchers present epidemiological, clinical, and preventive perspectives on meningococcal disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis is a recent issue of Salud Publica de Mexico.

According to a study from Mexico, "Bacterial meningitis constitutes a significant global public health problem. In particular, Neisseria meningitidis continues to be a public health problem among human populations in both developed and developing countries. Meningococcal infection is present as an endemic and an epidemic disease....
