Agreement extended permitting First Horizon to launch fenofibrate product

SkyePharma PLC (SKYE) announced that it has extended an agreement with First Horizon Pharmaceutical Corporation (FHRX) originally signed in May, 2004, in connection with SkyePharma's formulation of fenofibrate, currently under review by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Subject to FDA approval, the amended agreement would permit First Horizon to launch the fenofibrate product in the first half of 2005.

SkyePharma PLC develops pharmaceutical products benefiting from drug delivery technologies that provide easier-to-use and more effective drug formulations.
