Scoring system developed to help predict risk of invasive aspergillosis

A scoring system has been developed to help predict the risk of invasive aspergillosis.

According to recent research from Spain, "The increase in the immunocompromised population and the incidence of invasive aspergillosis (IA) are leading to an overinterpretation of the potential clinical significance of many isolates of Aspergillus fumigatus.
