FDA approves Immedia PT System

Farallon Medical, Inc., a California-headquartered developer of point-of-care diagnostic and drug monitoring technologies, announced the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted and cleared for marketing the Immedia PT System. Earlier this year, clinical trials essential for FDA clearance were completed by three medical organizations in the U.S. Farallon Medical's application was submitted in the first quarter of 2005 and the FDA was expeditious in its approval process.
