U.S. FDA grants clearance for radiology picture archive communication system

Medstrat announced it received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to market echoeSYSTEM, the company's patent-pending orthopedic Picture Archive Communication System (PACS) software.

Co-CEOs Robert Bishop and Michael Cowden announced the enhanced functionality available to be marketed with the class 2 categorization by the U.S. Center for Devices and Radiological Health. Medstrat's echoeSYSTEM PACS enables the communication, storage, viewing and manipulation of diagnostic medical images.
