Blood volume analyzer maker delays filing of second-quarter 10Q

Daxor Corp. (DXR), a medical-instrumentation and biotechnology company, announced that on June 9, 2005, it received an informal inquiry and comments from the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding the 2004 10K, requesting further explanation and expansion of certain information and comments that Daxor provided in various parts of the document.

As a result, Daxor has been delayed in filing the second-quarter 10Q for 2005 because of work necessitated to meet the requested changes from the SEC.

As previously announced by Daxor Corp. on August 22, 2005, Daxor filed SEC Form 12b-25 on August 12, 2005, requesting an extension of time to file...
