Measurement of resiniferatoxin in serum samples was performed by high-performance liquid chromatography. According to recent research published in the Journal of Chromatography B - Analytical Technologies in the Biomedical and Life Sciences, "A novel and simple method of extraction, separation, identification and quantification of resiniferatoxin (RTX) in serum samples is reported.
