LC method to measure fosinoprilat in plasma developed

Scientists have developed a liquid chromatographic (LC) method for fosinoprilat determination in human plasma using a micro-emulsion as the eluent. According to recent research from Serbia and Montenegro, "Fosinopril sodium presents a prodrug for the active angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, fosinoprilat. The dual elimination of fosinoprilat by the liver and the kidney distinguishes fosinopril from other angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors.
