Cardiopulmonary monitoring system to be used in real-world human attention study

The LifeShirt System, made by VivoMetrics, will be used in a new study on human visual attention to be conducted by researchers at The University of Waterloo, Ontario, Toronto, Canada.

The study, titled "A Portable Laboratory for Studying Human Attention in the Real World," is expected to shed light on how human attention operates and fails in everyday situations. The Canada Foundation for Innovation has granted almost $78,000 to the project.

The portable cardiopulmonary monitoring LifeShirt System will allow researchers to gather data in the field while subjects are going about daily activities in an effort to understand how physiological processes...
