"Overall, studies have shown that two-thirds or more of women get vaccinated appropriately," said coauthor Susan Reef, MD, of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). "We found that in this high-risk population, only 21% of non-immune women were vaccinated."
