Public-private collaborations can improve tuberculosis control in India.

According to a study from the United States and India, "To review the characteristics of public-private mix projects in India and their effect on case notification and treatment outcomes for tuberculosis, surveillance records from Indian tuberculosis program project, evaluation reports, and medical literature for public-private mix projects in India were reviewed."
