Study 1: Ebola virus antibodies can be detected in oral fluid specimens when RT-PCR is positive.
According to a study from Switzerland, "Patients who have refused to provide blood samples has meant that there have been significant delays in confirming outbreaks of Ebola virus hemorrhagic fever (EVHF).
