Dendreon reports second quarter net loss of $18.8 million

Dendreon Corporation (DNDN) reported results for the quarter ended June 30, 2006.

Revenue for the second quarter of 2006 was $78,000 compared to $58,000 for the quarter ended June 30, 2005. Revenue for the six months ended June 30, 2006 was $103,000 compared to $115,000 for the six months ended June 30, 2005.

Dendreon's total operating expenses for the second quarter of 2006 were $20.1 million compared to $18.7 million in 2005. Dendreon's total operating expenses for the six months ended June 30, 2006 were $45.6 million compared to $39.4 million for the same period in 2005.
