Study 1: Physician knowledge about latent tuberculosis (TB) infection is low in areas with low TB incidence.
"To understand physicians' knowledge and attitudes toward the treatment of young children with latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) in a low-incidence region, we conducted a cross-sectional survey of 525 pediatricians and 525 family practitioners in North Carolina," researchers in the United States report.
