University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Selects EMPI Software from Initiate Systems

Initiate Systems Inc., the recognized standard in enterprise master person index (EMPI) software in the healthcare industry, announced that the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is replacing its existing EMPI solution with Initiate Identity Hub(TM) software to help facilitate interoperability across its many disparate systems and to provide interactive delivery of patient information. UPMC will deploy Initiate Identity Hub(TM) software in its efforts to enhance patient care and ensure that patients are connected to their accurate medical histories while streamlining administrative processes.
