New HIV/AIDS epidemiology study findings have been published by scientists at Harvard University, Department of Medicine

Research findings, "Modelling the impact of migration on the HIV epidemic in South Africa," are discussed in a new report. In this recent report published in the journal AIDS, researchers in the United States conducted a study "To use observed data to develop a mathematical model that estimates the impact of migration on the spread of HIV in South Africa. A deterministic mathematical model was designed to evaluate the dynamic interactions between mobility, sexual behaviour, HIV, and sexually transmitted infections."
